The Taurus Necktrainer has been evaluated in extensive clinical studies on 39 trainees.
Part of the group trained using traditional training methods (thera band training) while
the other part of the group trained with Taurus Necktrainer. The training results have been
evaluated by measuring the following parameters:
- force (using load cells)
- muscle volume (using MRI scans before and after the study)
- visual motion control capabilities (using proprioception tests)
The clinical study showed the following results:
- Enhancement of force is optimized by factor 2 compared to traditional training methods (e.g. thera band training)
- Enhancement of muscle volume even is optimized by factor 5 compared to traditional training
- Training of the neck muscles using the Taurus Necktrainer is not
linked to disadvantages in visual motion control (as it is the case in
traditional training)
